Overview
The DCX ECDU Series is a portfolio of rack-based enterprise coolant distribution units introduced on March 11, 2026, spanning 600 kW to 2.6 MW of cooling capacity. It is designed for direct-to-chip liquid cooling in enterprise, colocation, cloud and hyperscale AI data centers where rack densities routinely exceed 30–50 kW.
The family includes an entry-class ECDU 600/1200, the ECDU 1380/2600 for standard enterprise duty, and the ECDU 1380/2600 H2 for mission-critical deployments. The units emphasise energy efficiency, redundancy and scalability, and complement DCX's Facility Distribution Unit (FDU) platform, which supports warm-water cooling up to 45°C.
DCX Liquid Cooling Systems supplies CDUs, immersion cooling, engineered fluids, heat rejection and turnkey modular data centers, and announced a strategic investment from LITEON on September 3, 2026. The ECDU portfolio targets the high-density thermal loads driven by generative-AI GPU clusters.
Key Benefits
600 kW to 2.6 MW capacity across three models; rack-based enterprise design for in-row direct-to-chip cooling; mission-critical H2 variant for redundancy; and 45°C warm-water support for efficient heat reuse.
Applications
AI and GPU cluster cooling, hyperscale and colocation data centers, HPC facilities, direct-to-chip liquid-cooled racks and high-density edge data centers.
