Overview

The ScaleFlux MC600 is a PCIe Gen6 CXL 3.2 Type 3 memory controller that enables rack-level memory expansion and pooling. As AI servers reach memory-bandwidth and capacity limits around the accelerators, CXL memory tiers let operators add capacity and share it across hosts instead of stranding DRAM in individual nodes.

The MC600 pairs a PCIe Gen6 host interface with CXL 3.2 Type 3 semantics and carries the same security posture as ScaleFlux's FC6116 storage controller: OCP Caliptra 2.0 root-of-trust compliance with firmware attestation, CNSA 2.0 post-quantum cryptography and end-to-end data path protection. It is designed for the bandwidth, power and scalability demands of AI and hyperscale cloud infrastructure.

ScaleFlux introduced the MC600 alongside the FC6116 at FMS 2026. QS Compute supplies CXL and memory-expansion silicon together with the enterprise DRAM, SSDs and controllers that complete an AI-factory memory hierarchy.
