Graphical LCD on 15 A and 20 A models — current and voltage monitoring, active source indication, alarm warnings; static display on 30 A
Network Management
Compatible with Eaton Gigabit Network Card (Network-M2); SNMP, web UI, email alarm notification
Typical Load
Networking equipment, switches, routers, and low-end servers that ship with a single power supply
Bypass Role
eATS Monitored doubles as a maintenance bypass to service a UPS without dropping the critical load
Dimensions
430 mm depth (EATS16N); 1U height
Weight
3.5 kg (EATS16N)
Included Accessories
(2) C19-C20 1.8 m input cables, input cable lockers, RS-232 serial cable, DB9/RJ45 network configuration cable, rack mount hardware
Compliance
UL listed, RoHS compliant
Cooling
Passive — no fans, no airflow budget consumed in the rack
Overview
The Eaton ATS rack PDU family adds dual-source power redundancy to equipment that only has one power inlet. Instead of replacing a switch, router, edge node or sensor gateway with a dual-PSU model, you land two independent feeds (for example utility A and UPS B) on the ATS and the ATS decides which source is live.
When the primary source fails or is taken down for maintenance, the unit transfers to the secondary source in roughly ten milliseconds on the network-connected eATS Monitored models. That is fast enough that the downstream switch-mode power supply never sees its rail collapse, so the attached device stays online.
The three chassis sizes cover 120 V single-cord lab and branch gear (ATS 15), 200-240 V C13/C19 network gear up to 16 A (ATS 16 and EATS16N Netpack), and hardwired 30 A circuits (ATS 30). The Netpack variant adds the network card so source state, current and voltage are visible in the same SNMP tooling as the rest of the rack PDUs.
Key Benefits
Dual-source redundancy for single-cord devices without buying redundant PSUs. ~10 ms transfer keeps switch-mode supplies alive. LCD source and load visibility on 15 A and 20 A models. Netpack SNMP monitoring integrates with existing DCIM and UPS alerting. 1U passive chassis with no fan noise and no added heat load.
Applications
Single-cord network switches and routers in AI/edge racks; out-of-band management gateways; edge AI inference nodes with a single power inlet; lab benches and test equipment needing A/B feed; maintenance bypass for UPS replacement without dropping the load.
