Overview
CyberPower's rack PDU line covers the three monitoring tiers AI racks need: switched (remote outlet control), metered (aggregate power visibility) and metered-by-outlet, where every C13 is measured independently. The PDU41005 is the 1U entry point with eight C13 outlets and a full management stack for under a typical network switch budget.
For higher-density cabinets the PDU83108 moves to three-phase 200-240 V with 30 IEC-320 outlets in a zero-U form factor, while the PDU81005 adds outlet-level metering in 1U so operators can attribute per-server draw. Every unit supports scheduled power sequencing, outlet lock-off and SNMPv3, which matters when a rack hosts multiple tenants or mixed GPU and CPU nodes.
Key Benefits
Metered-by-outlet models attribute energy per server for internal chargeback and capacity planning. Per-outlet switching allows remote reboot and load shedding without a site visit. Broad protocol support including SNMPv3, LDAP(S) and RADIUS integrates with existing DCIM and identity platforms.
Applications
Data centres, network closets, edge AI cabinets, VoIP and security racks, and any deployment that needs per-outlet power telemetry and remote power cycling at a favourable cost per outlet.
