Overview
Matrox LUMA Pro cards are the display engine of a modern video wall. Each card drives four or eight synchronized displays or projectors over DisplayPort 2.0 and is powered by Intel Arc graphics — an approach that keeps the display output path fully deterministic while leaving the host free for other work.
Three models cover the range. The LUMA Pro A380 Octal (LUMA-A380P8) drives eight 5K60 HDR displays from a single-slot card using two Intel Arc A380E GPUs and 12 GB of GDDR6; the LUMA Pro A380 Quad (LUMA-A380P) and low-profile LUMA Pro A310 Quad (LUMA-A310FP) each drive four outputs, and because they need no auxiliary power connector they can be fitted into compact chassis that a conventional workstation GPU would not fit.
Board-to-board framelock keeps multiple cards synchronized, and up to four cards can be installed per system for large walls. Matrox PowerDesk manages the desktop layout, while Mura Developer tools and APIs let integrators add custom control functions on top.
Key Benefits
Eight synchronized outputs from one slot reduces host PCIe and chassis requirements for large walls. No auxiliary power on the quad models simplifies integration into low-profile industrial and signage players. DisplayPort 2.0 UHBR10 with DSC and Adaptive Sync supports 5K and 8K panels at 60 Hz with HDR. Hardware AV1/H.265/VP9 codecs and OpenVINO/oneAPI support allow on-card inference-adjacent workloads, and TAA-compliant SKUs are available for regulated deployments.
Applications
Command-and-control video walls, digital signage and corporate lobby installations, broadcasting and media review walls, education and court AV systems, enterprise and government visualization walls, and AI video-analytics display walls where many camera streams must be tiled in real time.
