Overview
Matrox Mura IPX cards are the capture and IP encode/decode half of a video wall system: they take 4K, 12G-SDI, HDMI or IP-stream sources, scale and composite them on-card, and present the result to video-wall graphics cards such as Matrox LUMA Pro for display. The E4SHF model combines four SDI capture channels (two 3G-SDI and two 12G-SDI) with fanless cooling, 8 GB of on-board memory and 34 Gbit/s data movement.
Encoding and decoding are handled in H.264 up to level 5.2 with the full profile range from Baseline to High 4:4:4 Predictive, at bitrates from 100 Kbps to 800 Mbps and with CBR, VBR and constrained-VBR rate control. Practical throughput covers two 4K60 streams, four 4K30 streams, eight 1080p60 or sixteen 1080p30 streams simultaneously for encode or decode.
The Mura C4K (MURA-C4KH) complements the line with four HDMI 2.1 inputs capturing up to 4 x 4096x2160 at 60Hz 10-bit, passive cooling and 29.8 W typical power. Both card families stream over SRT, RTP, RTSP and MPEG2-TS, record to NAS in MP4 and are managed through MuraControl for Windows with developer APIs.
