Overview
Hikrobot builds one of the widest industrial area scan camera portfolios available, spanning six series and a resolution range from 0.3 MP to 604 MP. That breadth is the point: a single vendor can supply a 5 MP GigE camera for a general inspection cell and a 604 MP camera for wafer or display panel inspection, with the same SDK, the same GenICam interface and the same mounting practice across the fleet.
The CS series is the current-generation workhorse. A concrete example, the MV-CS050-10GM-PRO and its colour twin MV-CS050-10GC-PRO, pair a Sony IMX264 global shutter sensor with a GigE interface at 24.2 fps full resolution — rising to 35.6 fps when the on-camera image compression mode is enabled. The PRO variants add lossless compression, noise reduction and super palette functions inside the camera, so less data crosses the wire and the host spends less time on cleanup. The redesigned chassis supports mounting from all four sides, which simplifies fitting cameras into crowded inspection fixtures.
Interface choice tracks bandwidth. CS and CU cameras use Gigabit Ethernet with power over the same cable and 100 m reach without a repeater. The CH series moves to 10GigE for high-speed lines while remaining backward compatible with slower links, and the CA and CB lines cover Camera Link and CoaXPress where deterministic high-bandwidth acquisition is required. Across the range Hikrobot implements GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam, so cameras drop into third-party machine vision software rather than locking the customer into a single vendor's stack.
