Overview
The LiquiX platform is KSTAR's data-center CDU line, rated to 600 kW of heat load. KSTAR quotes up to 400% higher heat dissipation per unit area than conventional air cooling, which is the value proposition that matters when racks move past roughly 40 kW and air cooling stops being able to remove the heat from a fixed footprint.
A CDU at this rating sits between the facility water loop and the IT loop, controlling flow, pressure and supply temperature to the cold plates while isolating the electrical room from the IT room. It is specified together with the facility-side dry coolers or chillers rather than standalone.
Key Benefits
600 kW per unit for high-density AI rows, 400% higher heat-removal density than air, N+1 pump options for availability, and full flow/temperature/leak telemetry for DCIM integration.
Applications
AI training halls, high-density colocation rows, direct-to-chip cold plate loops, and rear-door heat-exchanger retrofits in existing data centers.
