Overview
JetCool expanded its SmartPlate microconvective liquid-cooling system portfolio with a closed-loop configuration for next-generation compute. SmartPlate is JetCool's direct-to-chip microconvective cold-plate technology, which uses fluid jets to break up boundary layers and improve heat transfer from high-power processors.
The closed-loop version packages the cooling loop to simplify deployment where facility water is not available or a self-contained thermal loop is preferred. It complements JetCool's SmartSense CDU in the company's data-center liquid-cooling line.
