Overview
The Flex Modular Rack-Level CDU is a rack-level coolant distribution unit developed by JetCool, the liquid-cooling business Flex acquired and operates as a Flex company. It is a modular design: the same base unit is paired with standard or custom manifolding, so it can be dropped into a rack without a bespoke plumbing design.
Flex launched the unit at OCP Global Summit 2025 and made it available immediately, positioning it as the first step in a broader CDU portfolio; a dedicated in-row CDU was scheduled for April 2026. Flex sells it with deployment and maintenance services under a unified warranty, which removes the split-responsibility problem that often slows liquid-cooling rollouts.
