Overview
The Norco RPC-3216 fits 16 hot-swap 3.5-inch (or 2.5-inch) drive bays into 3U of rack height, with an additional pair of 2.5-inch mounts and a slim-line optical position above the storage area. Cooling comes from three 120 mm fans in a slide-out bracket plus two 60 mm exhaust fans above the rear I/O.
It targets storage-focused builds that want a large hot-swap bay count in less vertical space than a 4U chassis. Independent reviews note two practical caveats: drives route one cable per row, and Norco does not include rack rails with the chassis.
