Overview
The InWin IW-RSA104-02M is the SAS-oriented variant of InWin's 1U four-bay platform. Where the RS104-07 offers a hybrid NVMe/SAS backplane, the RSA104-02M uses a passive 12 Gb/s SAS3 backplane with a single Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) host link feeding all four hot-swap trays.
It keeps the same chassis dimensions, fan set and 750 W 1+1 redundant Platinum supply, so it is a straightforward choice for SAS storage builds - RAID arrays, backup targets and media servers - where NVMe is not required and SAS3 bandwidth is sufficient.
