Overview
The InWin IW-RS110-07 is a 1U rackmount chassis built around ten 2.5-inch hot-swap trays that take NVMe, SAS or SATA drives. It accepts standard ATX, CEB and EEB server boards and presents the drive bays through one of two hybrid backplane options: a Mini-SAS HD plus SlimSAS layout, or a Mini-SAS HD plus OCuLink layout.
Both backplanes carry SAS3 at 12 Gb/s and PCIe Gen4 at 16 GT/s, so the same chassis can host a SAS storage array or Gen4 NVMe flash without a change of enclosure. Cooling is handled by six 40 x 56 mm easy-swap fans, and the chassis supports a 750 W 1+1 redundant 80 PLUS Platinum power supply. It mounts in EIA-RS310D 19-inch cabinets on 28-inch tool-less ball-bearing rails.
