Overview
The InWin IW-RS104-07 is a 1U general-purpose server chassis with four hot-swap trays that accept either 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives - NVMe, SAS or SATA - over a SAS3 plus PCIe Gen4 hybrid backplane. It also carries a slim optical bay that can be converted to a third internal 2.5-inch mount.
Unlike the all-flash models in the range, the RS104-07 trades bay count for mixed media support: the same trays take spinning 3.5-inch disks or flash, and three backplane options let the host connect over Mini-SAS HD, SlimSAS or OCuLink. Six 21,500 RPM fans and a 750 W 1+1 Platinum supply complete the platform.
