Overview
The InWin IW-RS224-07 packs twenty-four 2.5-inch front hot-swap bays into 2U of rack space, plus two rear 2.5-inch bays for SAS/SATA drives. The active SAS3 + PCIe Gen4 backplane carries a Broadcom SAS 35 x 36R expander and accepts either four SlimSAS or eight OCuLink host links.
Drive allocation is twenty-four SAS/SATA, or sixteen SAS/SATA plus eight NVMe. Four 80 x 38 mm hot-swap fans run at 12,000 RPM and up to two CRPS Platinum modules are supported from 550 W to 1600 W. Net weight is 13.45 kg.
