Overview
The InWin IW-RS212-07 mounts twelve front 2.5/3.5-inch hot-swap trays plus two rear 2.5-inch trays for SAS 12 Gb/s boot drives. Its SAS3 + PCIe Gen4 hybrid backplane carries an active 12 Gb/s expander (LSI 3 x 36R), so the host needs only three Mini-SAS HD links plus four SlimSAS or OCuLink links.
The backplane drives twelve SAS/SATA drives, or eight SAS/SATA plus four NVMe. Four 80 x 38 mm hot-swap fans run at 12,000 RPM, and up to two CRPS Platinum modules are supported from 550 W to 1600 W. Net weight is 13.09 kg.
