Overview
The InWin IW-RS208-07 is a 2U storage platform with eight front-mounted hot-swap 2.5/3.5-inch trays. Two backplane options are offered: a Mini-SAS HD + OCuLink hybrid that drives eight SAS/SATA drives or four SAS/SATA plus four NVMe, or a pure Mini-SAS HD SAS3 backplane for eight SAS/SATA drives.
PCIe Gen4 runs at 16 GT/s and SAS3 at 12 Gb/s, so the same chassis serves flash or spinning media. Four 80 x 38 mm hot-swap fans spin at 12,000 RPM, and power comes from one or two 80 PLUS Platinum CRPS 550 W/800 W modules. Net weight is 13.26 kg.
