Overview
The InWin IW-RS108-09S is the short-depth member of InWin's 1U NVMe hybrid line: 549.6 mm front to back instead of the usual 600-700 mm, so it fits shallow wall-mount and edge cabinets. It carries eight U.2 hot-swap bays driven from a PCIe Gen5 NVMe plus SAS4 hybrid backplane with eight MCIO 4i links for NVMe and two more for SAS/SATA, plus a pair of internal 2.5-inch mounts for boot drives.
Power comes from a 500 W 80 PLUS Platinum Flex-format supply rather than a full-size CRPS module, which is what allows the reduced depth. It takes ATX and CEB boards and offers a single full-height PCIe slot through a riser.
