Overview
The IcyDock MB840M2P-B is a one-bay mobile rack that converts an M.2 NVMe SSD into a removable module installed in a PCIe 3.0 x4 expansion slot. It solves the practical problem that M.2 drives are normally screwed flat to the board with no external access.
With the drive in a tool-less carrier, replacing or reimaging it becomes a slot operation rather than a teardown. It is the single-bay companion to IcyDock's multi-bay M.2 racks.
