Overview
The IcyDock ExpressSlot Core MB312M4P-B is a PCIe 4.0 x8 adapter card that holds two M.2 NVMe SSDs in tool-less removable trays. It gives a workstation or server a pair of front-serviceable M.2 bays without consuming a drive cage.
Like IcyDock's other dual-M.2 cards it relies on PCIe bifurcation: the host must split the x8 slot into x4/x4 for both SSDs to be enumerated. It is a low-profile way to add removable NVMe capacity in any system with a suitable free slot.
