Overview
Vision Components unveiled the VC MIPI Blueline series at VISION 2026: MIPI CSI-2 cameras with first-class mainline Linux support and a choice of six Sony STARVIS and onsemi sensors covering 2 to 12.5 megapixels. The streaming sensors target AI applications and smart devices from prototyping through series production.
Alongside it, the VC EvoCam is a compact 65 × 40 mm intelligent board-level camera that integrates a MediaTek Genio 510 edge-AI processor with all image-acquisition electronics and a 3.2 TOPS NPU, configurable with onboard or remote-head sensors.
Key Benefits
Mainline Linux support removes vendor-kernel lock-in, six sensor options (2–12.5 MP) cover a broad AI-vision range, and the VC EvoCam's 3.2 TOPS NPU enables standalone on-camera inference in a 65 × 40 mm footprint.
Applications
Embedded AI vision, smart devices and kiosks, robotics and AMR perception, industrial barcode/OCR, and OEM camera design-in with MIPI CSI-2 host processors.
