Overview

The LUCID Helios2 Chroma combines a Helios2 Time-of-Flight 3D camera with a 12.2 MP Triton RGB camera in a single, factory-calibrated IP67 housing. Colour and depth are aligned at the factory, so applications receive ready-to-use colour 3D point clouds without a separate registration step.

Time-of-Flight depth comes from a Sony IMX556PLR sensor (640 × 480) illuminated by four VCSEL laser diodes, while the Triton RGB channel supplies high-resolution colour for object/texture recognition. Three variants cover indoor and outdoor (940 nm) use and narrow/wide fields of view.

The device runs on the standard GigE Vision / GenICam stack and is powered from a single 24 V supply, making it straightforward to integrate alongside LUCID's other Triton and Atlas cameras in the same application.
