Overview
SmartRay's ECCO 95+ series is a family of 3D laser profile sensors built for accurate, high-speed inline inspection and metrology. The range spans short-range, high-magnification heads through to long-range scanners, with fields of view from 10.5 mm up to 280 mm and measurement ranges from 5 mm to 300 mm, so a single series covers fine-detail measurement and large-part scanning alike.
Resolution reaches down to 0.37 µm, each 3D profile carries 1,920 points, and the sensors acquire roughly 0.7 to 15 million 3D points per second at scan rates from about 1 kHz to 10 kHz. The brilliant blue 450 nm laser option improves contrast on materials that are difficult for red lasers, and both Class 2 and Class 3R safety variants are offered. The dual-head ECCO 95.200+ adds a second camera at an opposing angle for shadow-free 3D scanning, solving occlusion on complex geometries.
The ECCO 95+ family combines this performance with a compact industrial housing, making it straightforward to integrate on production lines and robot arms for dimensional measurement, weld inspection, surface defect detection and general 3D scanning. The series is a direct fit for QC cell upgrades that need higher resolution and speed without a larger sensor footprint.
