Overview
Prodrive Technologies presented its advanced machine-vision portfolio at VISION 2026, including the Runix, Yooka and Sonic camera families and the Apollo frame grabber. The Runix-MX105 is the first Runix model and pairs the Sony IMX927 105-megapixel sensor with capture up to 112 frames per second for semiconductor, FPD and scientific imaging.
The Yooka series delivers 10 or 21 MP global-shutter images at up to 2,000 fps full resolution, or up to 30,000 fps with ROI readout, over an optical CLHS interface. The Sonic TDI line-scan camera reaches 16K resolution at a line rate up to 1 MHz.
At the centre of the data path is the Apollo frame grabber — the world's first 100G frame grabber, sustaining 100 Gbit/s through a single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, with CLHS X-protocol fibre interfaces on two QSFP28 connectors. A dual-grabber configuration doubles capture to 1,000 fps at 21 MP.
Key Benefits
An end-to-end high-throughput pipeline from one vendor. Prodrive pairs ultra-fast area and TDI cameras with a purpose-built 100G frame grabber, so the acquisition, transport and processing stages are specified together — a compact, cost-efficient route to sustained 100 Gbit/s imaging.
Applications
Semiconductor and FPD inspection, high-end optical inspection tools, process monitoring and motion analysis, scientific imaging, and high-throughput web or material inspection.
