Overview

Emergent Vision Technologies builds cameras around the premise that modern Sony Pregius S sensors produce more data than 1G or 10G Ethernet can carry losslessly. The ZENITH family outputs over 100GigE and the BOLT family over 25GigE, so full-resolution frames arrive at the host without compression artefacts or dropped packets.

The reference examples in the range make the numbers concrete: HZ-12000-SB delivers 12.3 MP at up to 662 fps, and HZ-100-SB delivers 105 MP at up to 113 fps. Both are aimed at applications where a single 10GigE camera would need to be cropped, binned or sub-sampled.

Because a single camera can saturate a host link, the ecosystem matters as much as the camera. Emergent ships the THEIA 10GigE quad-port NICs and supports RDMA / GPU Direct capture so images land directly in GPU memory for deep-learning inference, and the company demonstrated camera-to-DGX-Spark pipelines on native 100GigE.

Key Benefits

Lossless full-resolution capture at frame rates far beyond 10GigE, RDMA / GPU Direct so frames go straight to the GPU, and a matched NIC and SDK ecosystem that removes the usual integration risk on 25G and 100G links.

Applications

High-speed inline inspection at full resolution, multi-camera 3D and motion-capture rigs, semiconductor wafer and PCB inspection, broadcast-quality motion capture, aerial mapping and photogrammetry, agricultural and food sorting, and scientific high-speed imaging.
