Overview
The Micro-Epsilon scanCONTROL 8500 and 8200 are the latest generation of high-performance laser profile scanners. As the first laser scanner in its class to use Green Laser technology, the 8500 delivers significantly improved signal stability on challenging surfaces, with 4,224 points per profile and up to 25 million points per second.
Integrated SMART 3D evaluation removes the need for an external controller: more than 80 measurement programs run on the scanner and transmit results directly to a PLC over PROFINET, EtherCAT or EtherNet/IP, while calibrated 3D point clouds are available over GigE Vision / GenICam for custom software integration via 3DInspect.
