Overview
The Matrox M-Series is a family of fanless, low-profile PCIe graphics cards for driving multiple displays from a single host system. Each card renders pristine image quality on two to four monitors at resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 per output, and up to two cards can be installed in one system to support eight displays — or more when combined with Matrox multi-display management software.
Four models cover the common requirements: the M9148 (four DisplayPort outputs, 1 GB), the M9140 (four SL-DVI/analog outputs via a KX-20 splitter, 512 MB), the M9128 (two DisplayPort outputs, 1 GB) and the M9120 (two DVI-I outputs supporting both digital and analog, 512 MB). All four are fanless, which matters in sealed or dust-exposed control-room and industrial enclosures.
Matrox PowerDesk software provides independent, stretched, clone, pivot and joined-adapter desktop modes plus bezel management, so an installation can be treated as one large canvas or as separate desktops. The M-Series is widely deployed in control rooms, digital signage, transportation, process-control utilities, government and defense multi-monitor applications.
