Overview
The Baumer VLXT family is a 10 GigE Vision area-scan line built for throughput-limited inspection stations. With 1.1 GB/s of usable link bandwidth the camera sustains frame rates that 1 GigE models cannot reach, so a single VLXT can replace several lower-bandwidth cameras on one line.
Two cabling strategies are supported from the same family: 10GBASE-T copper with M12 connectors for standard factory runs, or SFP+ optical for electrically noisy environments and runs beyond copper limits. Both carry the same GigE Vision / GenICam interface, so existing software stacks work unchanged.
The sealed 70 x 70 mm housing with an IP65/IP67 lens tube suits washdown and dusty environments. Lens-controlled variants add motorised focus, zoom and iris plus liquid-lens support for applications that must refocus between products.
