Overview
The Emergent Vision EROS 10GigE is a 10 Gigabit Ethernet area scan camera series aimed at high-throughput imaging where cable length, cabling simplicity and power budget all matter. In September 2026 Emergent Vision added six new models, extending the range of Sony Pregius S global shutter sensors available to system designers.
The expanded line spans resolutions from 5 MP to 24.4 MP with frame rates up to 232 fps. 10GigE carries the resulting bandwidth - far more than 1GigE and without the short cable limit of USB 3 - while Emergent Vision describes the EROS platform as the lowest-power 10GigE area scan camera family on the market. Sony Pregius S brings the global shutter and low-noise performance that machine vision algorithms depend on.
