Overview
The EROS LE-4KG5 brings 10GigE bandwidth into a 29 x 29 mm camera body — the footprint normally associated with 1GigE Ethernet cameras. That form factor is what makes it practical to mount a high-rate line-scan head directly on a print bar, web-inspection frame or gantry where a larger body and its cabling would not fit.
EROS cameras negotiate their link speed automatically. On a controller with only 1GigE they run at 1GigE; when a 10GigE port is available they use the full rate. Brightness-adjustment plug-ins run on the camera itself, so exposure control stays deterministic regardless of host load. The same family includes the EROS HE-3200-S-I SWIR model, a 3.14 MP short-wave-infrared camera running up to 173.4 fps for inspection tasks that visible sensors cannot see.
