Overview
The Emergent Vision BOLT 25GigE is the higher-bandwidth half of Emergent Vision's Ethernet area scan portfolio. In August 2026 the company expanded the BOLT line with seven new models, widening the set of Sony Pregius S global shutter sensors offered on a 25GigE interface.
25GigE exists for the cases where 10GigE is not enough: very high resolution combined with high frame rate, or multi-camera systems that must stream full-rate data into one host. BOLT cameras use the same GigE Vision software ecosystem as the rest of Emergent Vision's range, and the company also supplies matching THEIA 10GigE quad-port network interface cards for host-side capture.
