Overview
NetraVis is e-con Systems' 1MP global-shutter active-stereo 3D depth camera, unveiled at VISION 2026 in Stuttgart for accurate robotic perception and spatial understanding in dynamic indoor environments.
Two 1MP monochrome global-shutter sensors form an active-stereo pair on a 100 mm baseline with an 850 nm IR filter, delivering depth with 1% or better deviation at 2 m, including on reflective, dark and low-texture surfaces. A dedicated 1MP global-shutter RGB sensor records scene appearance, and depth-to-color registration maps depth positions onto the RGB image.
NeatruVis pairs active stereo sensing with e-con's proprietary depth-processing algorithm to improve depth quality, frame-to-frame consistency, and point-cloud texture reconstruction. An integrated 6-axis IMU adds inertial data for sensor fusion.
Key Benefits
Reliable depth where other cameras fail. IR-assisted active stereo with global-shutter sensing maintains accuracy on reflective and textureless surfaces, while USB 3.0 Type-C plug-and-play connectivity and an optional GMSL2 variant simplify integration into robots and embedded platforms.
Applications
Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), automated storage and retrieval systems, humanoid robots, pick-and-place robots, obstacle detection, spatial perception, and real-time decision-making in dynamic indoor environments.
