Overview
The Allied Vision SMR 10GigE is a high-speed video recording camera that combines Full HD acquisition at up to 2,517 fps with 32 GB of onboard storage, so burst sequences can be captured at the camera and downloaded without saturating the link in real time. Allied Vision introduced it in a redesigned housing on 21 July 2026.
The 10GigE interface (10GBASE-T) is the practical ceiling for copper Ethernet machine vision: it streams over standard Cat6a cabling up to 100 m with no frame grabber, which keeps the cabling and host-cost model simple compared with CoaXPress or 100GigE designs.
Key Benefits
2,517 fps peak at Full HD, 32 GB onboard buffering for burst capture, 10GigE over standard copper with no frame grabber, and Full HD resolution for detailed motion analysis.
Applications
Crash and impact testing, sports and biomechanics motion capture, high-speed production-line inspection, and drop/ballistics analysis.
