Overview
The Motivair MCDU-70 is the highest-capacity coolant distribution unit in Motivair's MCDU family, rated up to 2.5 MW of liquid-to-liquid cooling. It is engineered for the high-density racks of gigawatt-scale AI factories and uses redundant pumps with redundant variable-speed drives, a stainless-steel heat exchanger and dual power feeds for high availability.
The MCDU-70's design allows a higher technology-cooling-system supply-loop temperature of up to 45 C, which enables free cooling in many locations and improves overall efficiency. Integrated controls provide set points, alarms and individual monitoring, and the unit is UL/CSA/CE listed with redundant internal pumps. It sits at the top of the MCDU ladder that starts at the 4U, 105 kW MCDU-4U.
