Overview

The ARBOR AEC-2001 is the entry point of ARBOR's AEC-2000 series: a fanless industrial box PC built on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module. The Orin Nano 8GB pairs a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU with a 1024-core Ampere GPU carrying 32 Tensor cores, and ARBOR lists the system at 67 TOPS.

The mechanical and electrical specification is what separates it from a developer kit. The 180 x 96 x 60.9 mm enclosure runs from a 12–24 V DC input and is rated from –20 to 65 °C with 0.63 m/s airflow at 25 W TDP, with a –40 to 85 °C storage range and 95 % relative humidity tolerance. A single Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and a USB 2.0 Type-C port with recovery function cover connectivity, and HDMI 2.0 drives 4K at 30 Hz.

For storage and integration, the AEC-2001 ships with a 128 GB NVMe SSD in the M.2 M-Key 2280 socket and accepts drives up to 2 TB, while an M.2 E-Key 2230 socket takes a Wi-Fi module. A CAN 2.0 port on a 3-pin terminal block and optional out-of-band management cover vehicle and remote-site deployments. The box runs Ubuntu 22.04 with NVIDIA JetPack 6.2.

Key Benefits

Jetson Orin Nano 8GB with 1024 Ampere cores and 32 Tensor cores at a 67 TOPS rating. Fanless chassis rated –20 to 65 °C at 25 W for cabinets, kiosks and vehicle installations. 128 GB NVMe SSD standard, expandable to 2 TB with no external storage. CAN 2.0 plus optional out-of-band management suits fleet and remote-site deployment. 12–24 V DC input matches typical industrial and vehicle power.

Applications

Edge video analytics, industrial machine vision, AMR and AGV computing, remote kiosk and signage inference, vehicle-mounted AI, CAN-connected machinery monitoring, and out-of-band managed distributed edge nodes.
