The ScaleFlux FC6116 is a PCIe Gen6 NVMe SSD controller introduced at FMS 2026 alongside the company's MC600 PCIe Gen6 CXL 3.2 Type 3 memory controller. As the storage industry shifts to PCIe 6.0 for enterprise AI infrastructure, the FC6116 gives drive vendors and hyperscalers a controller designed for higher bandwidth and lower power per terabyte than the Gen5 generation it replaces. ScaleFlux builds in an unusually deep security stack for a controller: PCIe Integrity and Data Encryption (IDE), OCP Caliptra 2.0 root-of-trust compliance, CNSA 2.0 post-quantum cryptography, firmware attestation, TCG Opal 2.0, and the ScaleFlux S.A.F.E. security framework. Enterprise reliability features cover full power-loss protection, end-to-end data path protection, advanced LDPC error correction, and compliance with the OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD Specification. ScaleFlux states the FC6116 will begin sampling with key customers in Q4 2026; QS Compute can quote controller-based drives and design-in support against that timeline.
