Overview
The Keithley 2657A is a high-power, high-voltage System SourceMeter instrument that combines a four-quadrant voltage and current source/load with precision voltage and current meters. It is designed for characterising power semiconductor devices where test voltages reach 3 kV.
Dual 22-bit ADCs and dual 18-bit digitizers give both high accuracy and 1 us-per-point transient capture. Because it is TSP-compliant, a 2657A integrates with Keithley 2651A high-current and Series 2600B SMUs in one test script, and with the Model 8010 fixture for packaged high-power devices.
Key Benefits
3000 V sourcing with 1 fA current resolution. 180 W DC/pulsed power handling. TSP scripting integration with high-current and low-power SMUs
Applications
SiC and GaN power device characterization; IGBT and high-voltage diode testing; power module QA; automotive and industrial power electronics R&D.
