Overview
The Toradex Luna SL1680 is a single-board computer introducing Toradex's "Pro Consumer" product tier, sitting between consumer development boards and its fully industrial platforms. It is built on the Synaptics Astra SL1680 SoC, which pairs a quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 CPU running up to 2.1 GHz with an 8 TOPS dense INT8 NPU, up to 4 GB of LPDDR4 and up to 256 GB of onboard eMMC that allows the board to run entirely without removable media.
Connectivity and multimedia are broad for the class: Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.x ports, an M.2 Key E slot, HDMI 2.1 output and input at up to 2160p60, quad-lane MIPI DSI, dual MIPI CSI camera inputs, and an integrated ISP with hardware video encode and decode. The board runs Torizon, Toradex's container-based Linux platform with secure update and device-lifecycle tooling aligned to the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and it starts at $105 through an early access program with a rated operating range of −25 °C to +85 °C.
