Overview

The DEBIX T62P-01 is an 88 x 59 mm industrial single board computer from Polyhex Technology built on the Texas Instruments Sitara AM62P SoC. The AM62P pairs a quad-core Cortex-A53 application cluster running up to 1.4 GHz with two Cortex-R5F real-time cores — one dedicated to the MCU channel and one to device management — which lets deterministic control loops run alongside a Linux userspace application.

Graphics come from an Imagination IMG BXS-4-64 GPU rated at up to 50 GFLOPS, driving either dual-channel LVDS or 4-lane MIPI DSI at up to 3840 x 1080, with a 4-lane MIPI CSI camera input on the capture side. There is no NPU: AI inference is expected to run on the Cortex-A53 cores or the GPU.

The board carries up to 8 GB of LPDDR4 and optionally up to 256 GB of eMMC, plus dual Gigabit Ethernet with TSN (one port PoE-capable with an external PD module) and Wi-Fi 6 / Bluetooth 5.4. A 40-pin expansion header exposes up to four UARTs, two SPI, two I2C, one CAN, two PWM and four GPIO lines, and the security subsystem includes hardware secure boot with a Root-of-Trust, Arm TrustZone TEE and an HSM covering AES, SHA, PKA and TRNG.

Key Benefits

Cortex-A53 + dual Cortex-R5F puts deterministic real-time control and Linux application code on one board. Dual GbE with TSN and optional PoE suits time-synchronised IIoT and camera networks. Hardware secure boot with Root-of-Trust, TrustZone and HSM for security-sensitive industrial products. 88 x 59 mm with a 40-pin expansion header for compact custom carrier designs.

Applications

Industrial IoT gateways, robotics controllers with real-time axes, smart terminals and HMI panels, edge computing nodes, machine control with TSN networking.
