Overview
The ARBOR EmNANO-iX701 is a Mini COM Express Type 10 CPU module on the Intel Amston Lake Atom platform, offered with a dual-core Atom x7211RE at 1.3 GHz (6 W TDP) or a quad-core Atom x7433RE at 1.5 GHz (9 W TDP). Memory is soldered LPDDR5 at 4800 MT/s in 4 GB, 8 GB or 16 GB capacities, and the module carries AMI UEFI BIOS with TPM 2.0. At 84 x 55 mm it targets designs where the carrier board is the custom part and the module supplies the compute.
The module's industrial credentials are its main distinction: a –40 °C to 85 °C operating range with humidity tolerance to 95 % at 85 °C non-condensing. Graphics are integrated Intel Gen12 UHD with a single-channel 24-bit LVDS output converted from eDP through an NXP PTN3460 plus one DDI port, which covers legacy panel interfaces common in industrial control equipment.
Expansion and I/O follow the Type 10 pinout: four PCIe x1 lanes, LPC, I²C and SMBus, two SATA 3.0 ports, eight USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.2 ports, HD audio link, and a 2.5 Gigabit Intel i226 Ethernet controller. On-board eMMC 5.1 is available on OEM request. ARBOR supports evaluation with the PBN-9007 EPIC-form-factor carrier board and the CBK-05-9007-00 cable kit, and notes that an additional wave heat sink is needed for sustained operation at 85 °C. Windows 10/11 64-bit and Ubuntu Linux are both supported.
