Overview
The Digilent Zybo Z7 is a Zynq-7000 SoC development board that combines a dual-core 667 MHz ARM Cortex-A9 processing system with Artix-7-class programmable logic on the XC7Z020-1CLG400C device. It provides 1 GB of DDR3L memory on a 32-bit bus at 1066 MHz and 16 MB of Quad-SPI configuration flash.
It adds a Gigabit Ethernet PHY, HDMI video, USB host and USB-JTAG/UART, an audio codec, and — uniquely among Digilent's entry boards — a Pcam connector for MIPI CSI-2 camera sensors, making it a common choice for embedded-vision and video pipelines. A lower-cost Zybo Z7-10 variant uses the XC7Z010.
Key Benefits
Zynq-7000 XC7Z020 with dual Cortex-A9 + FPGA fabric · 1 GB DDR3L at 1066 MHz · Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI · Pcam MIPI CSI-2 camera connector · full Vivado and PetaLinux support.
Applications
Embedded Linux and PetaLinux development, embedded vision and MIPI camera pipelines, hardware/software co-design labs, Industrial Ethernet and control prototyping.
