Overview
The XC7A100T is the volume workhorse of the Artix-7 family: 101,440 logic cells, 240 DSP48E1 slices and 4,860 Kb of block RAM, with the same four GTP transceivers and single PCIe Gen2 x4 block as the larger XC7A200T.
It is the device behind a very large installed base of industrial camera boards, PCIe bridges and embedded-vision products, which keeps it in continuous demand as a replacement and second-source part long after newer nodes have arrived.
Key Benefits
Best logic-per-cost point in the 7-series with a 15 mm CSG324 package option for space-constrained boards. Transceivers and PCIe built in — no bridge silicon. Same Vivado flow as Kintex-7/Virtex-7 so designs scale without re-work.
Applications
Embedded machine vision, industrial Ethernet and fieldbus bridges, PCIe adapters, motion control, video capture and switching, instrumentation, and portable test equipment.
