Overview
The Digilent Nexys A7-100T is a complete, ready-to-use digital-circuit development platform based on the AMD/Xilinx Artix-7 XC7A100T FPGA, and the modern replacement for the classic Nexys 4 DDR. It adds 128 MiB of DDR2 SDRAM and 16 MiB of Quad-SPI configuration flash.
Peripheral coverage is unusually broad for a trainer board: a VGA port (14 FPGA signals, 4 bits per colour plus sync), 10/100 Ethernet, USB-JTAG and USB-UART, a microSD slot, two 4-digit seven-segment displays, switches, buttons, LEDs and four Pmod connectors. The XADC block is available for analogue sensing, and a -50T variant uses the smaller XC7A50T device.
Key Benefits
Artix-7 XC7A100T with 128 MiB DDR2 · VGA, Ethernet, microSD and USB · 4 Pmod expansion · seven-segment displays, switches and LEDs on board · XADC analogue input.
Applications
University FPGA and digital-design courses, soft-core processor labs, video and VGA projects, embedded networking experiments and general Artix-7 prototyping.
