Overview
The Digilent Eclypse Z7 is a Zynq-7020 SoC development platform built for instrument-grade prototyping. Alongside the dual-core 667 MHz Cortex-A9 processing system and 85,000-logic-cell programmable fabric, it carries 1 GB of DDR3L memory and Gigabit Ethernet.
Its distinguishing feature is a pair of SYZYGY high-speed expansion ports — one standard and one transceiver — that accept Digilent's Zmod and third-party SYZYGY modules to build oscilloscopes, function generators, RF and high-speed data-acquisition systems directly on the carrier. It is supported by AMD/Xilinx Vivado and Vitis.
Key Benefits
Zynq-7020 SoC with 1 GB DDR3L and Gigabit Ethernet · two SYZYGY high-speed expansion ports · instrument-grade add-on ecosystem (Zmod) · Vivado/Vitis support.
Applications
Instrumentation and test-equipment prototyping, RF and high-speed data-acquisition development, DSP algorithm validation and lab measurement systems.
