Overview
The Digilent Arty A7-100T is a ready-to-use development board built around the AMD/Xilinx Artix-7 XC7A100T FPGA. It pairs a 101,440-logic-cell device with 4,860 Kb of block RAM, 256 MB of DDR3L memory on a 16-bit bus at 667 MT/s, and 16 MB of Quad-SPI configuration flash.
On-board connectivity covers 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, USB-JTAG programming, a USB-UART bridge, four Pmod expansion connectors and an Arduino/chipKIT shield connector, plus four switches, four buttons and four RGB LEDs for standalone demos. The XADC block provides an on-chip analogue-to-digital converter, and the board is programmable over JTAG or from Quad-SPI flash.
Key Benefits
Artix-7 XC7A100T with 4,860 Kb BRAM · 256 MB DDR3L and 16 MB QSPI · 10/100 Ethernet plus USB-JTAG/UART · 4 Pmod and Arduino shield expansion · microblaze/soft-core and XADC capable.
Applications
FPGA and RTL teaching, embedded soft-core (MicroBlaze/RISC-V) prototyping, custom accelerator and DSP development, Industrial Ethernet and video-processing projects, and hardware bring-up for Artix-7 based products.
