Overview
The KIOXIA CD8-R Series (KCD8XRUG7T68) is a read-intensive data center NVMe SSD optimized for scale-out and cloud applications. Built with a PCIe 4.0 interface and KIOXIA's own controller, firmware and BiCS FLASH TLC, it delivers consistent performance up to 1,150K IOPS random read.
This 7.68TB (7,680 GB) model is the SIE (Sanitize Instant Erase) order code, supporting cryptographic erase as defined by the INCITS SCSI technical committees. The base and SED order codes for the same capacity share identical performance and are available on request.
