Overview
The Banana Pi BPI-R4 is an open-source router board built on the MediaTek MT7988A (Filogic 880) quad-core Arm Cortex-A73 SoC. It provides dual 10G SFP cages, four Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual mini PCIe slots for WiFi 7 NICs.
Dedicated M.2 Key-B and Key-M slots add 5G modem and NVMe SSD support, making the BPI-R4 a capable platform for high-throughput OpenWrt routing, edge gateways and network-attached storage.
