Overview
The Banana Pi BPI-R4 Lite is a MediaTek MT7987A based open-source router board offering a 2.5G WAN port, four Gigabit LAN ports and a 2.5G SFP cage. It is a leaner, lower-cost sibling of the BPI-R4.
A mini PCIe slot supports WiFi 7 NICs while an M.2 Key-B slot accepts 5G modules, allowing flexible wireless configurations for OpenWrt edge and gateway deployments.
