Overview

The ARBOR ARTS-7670 is a fully sealed, fanless in-vehicle edge computer rated IP69K and certified to MIL-STD-810H. IP69K is the highest wash-down rating in the IEC 60529 scheme: the enclosure withstands dust ingress and direct high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, which is what fleet and mining operators need for equipment that is steam-cleaned between shifts.

Compute comes from Intel 12th, 13th or 14th Gen Core processors at 35 W or 65 W on a Q670E chipset, with up to 96 GB of DDR5. Networking is four PoE+ 2.5GbE ports delivered over M12 X-coded connectors with a 100 W total PoE budget — enough to power four industrial vision cameras directly from the computer, with no separate injector or midspan. Every external interface uses M12 waterproof connectors rather than RJ45 or D-sub.

For in-vehicle use the unit accepts 9–48 V DC with ignition control, so it starts and shuts down in sync with the vehicle and tolerates the voltage spikes and dips of a truck electrical system. The operating range is -40 °C to +70 °C at the 35 W CPU setting, covering cold starts and hot cab environments, and E-Mark preparation makes it suitable for on-road transit deployment.
