Overview
The ARBOR FPC-9309W-G5 is a rugged edge AI platform designed for deployments where a full-height discrete GPU has to live on the factory floor or in a vehicle rather than in a data-centre rack. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor with a PCIe expansion slot that accepts NVIDIA RTX 50 series cards drawing up to 575W and measuring up to 357.6 mm — the top of the current consumer-to-workstation GPU range — so vision models, multi-stream video analytics and local generative inference can run with no cloud round trip.
The platform is built around industrial power and serviceability requirements rather than office conventions. Input is wide-range 24–48V DC with configurable ignition power control and power on/off delay logic, which lets the unit follow a vehicle or machine's own power sequencing instead of relying on an orderly shutdown. Storage is generous and, importantly, partly field-serviceable: two externally accessible SATA SSDs plus two NVMe SSDs can be arranged in RAID 0, 1 or 5, so recordings and model assets survive a single drive failure without opening the chassis.
I/O is sized for machine integration: four GbE/2.5GbE ports, eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports at up to 10 Gbps, four serial ports and four display outputs. Four DDR5 U-DIMM sockets carry up to 192GB, headroom that matters when several cameras feed a single box and frame buffers compete with the model itself. TPM 2.0 and PWM fan control round out the platform. ARBOR targets AI vision, smart manufacturing, machine vision and motion control, robot and automation controllers, and medical imaging workstations.
Key Benefits
Accepts a flagship GPU: up to 575W of RTX 50 series compute in a rugged industrial chassis removes the usual edge trade-off between ruggedness and throughput. Vehicle-grade power: wide 24–48V DC input with ignition and delay control suits mobile and in-cabinet deployments. Serviceable redundant storage: externally accessible SATA plus internal NVMe with RAID 0/1/5 keeps data flowing when a drive fails, without a plant shutdown.
Applications
AI vision and video analytics at the edge, smart manufacturing and automated inspection, machine vision and motion control integration, robot and automation controllers, medical imaging workstations, and in-vehicle vision platforms requiring wide-range DC power.
